Gustavo “Suavo” Vargas has been a Professional Dancer for over 20 years.  His versatility has allowed him to dance in so many different show and dance genres.  He has danced on TV Shows such as Penny Dreadful. Euphoria, Prince of Peoria, The Fuller House, World Of Dance Promo Season 2, Dancing With The Stars, Lips Sync Battle, Disjointed, and Crazy Ex.  Films include The Wedding Year, LaLa Land, Gone With The Bullets, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Smurfs, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Rent and Along Came Polly.  Has toured with Jennifer Lopez - Lets Get Loud Tour, LXD - Legion Of Extraordinary Dancers, Jessica Simpson, Will Smith, and Enrique Iglesias.  He as danced in award shows such as MTV Movie and TV Awards, American Music Awards-JLO, Kid Choice Awards, Grammy’s, Latin Grammys, TV Land Awards, Alma Awards, VMA’s, and NAACP Awards.  He continues to perform all over the world and in many different genres.

He has Choreographed for Jennifer Lopez’s Residency Show in Las Vegas-“All I Have - Latin Section”, Justin Bieber “Changes Tour”, Maks and Vals “Our Way” Tour, Derek and Julianne Hough’s “Move Beyond” Tour from Dancing With The Stars, Prince Royce “The Bad Man Tour” and Dream for the “MY2K Tour” with 98 Degrees.  He has also Danced, Choreographed, and Toured with Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, MADONNA, Will Smith, Usher, Pink, Mya, Alicia Keys, Paulina Rubio, Roselyn Sanchez, Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, N'Sync, Jessica Simpson, and Eva Longoria to name a few. Television shows include World Of Dance, Jane the Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance-Canada, So You Think You Can Dance-USA, Lips Sync Battle, Bruno and Carrie Ann’s Dance Wars, America’s Best Dance Crew, True Blood, Eve, 7th Heaven, Drew Carey, Boston Public, Nikki Cox, American Music Awards, The Grammys, The Latin Grammy’s, Guys Choice Awards, Marry Me, and Janet Jackson MTV-Icon.  He has worked on movies such as Lala Land, The Bachelor, Be Cool, Dirty Dancing II-Havana Nights, Spanglish, Master of Disguise, Along Came Polly, Jackass II, Rent, and Indiana Jones.

Gustavo Vargas is an established Choreographer, Creative Director, and Teacher based out of LA.  He has been working in the commercial dance industry for over 20 years.  He has traveled the world teaching Master Classes of all styles from Salsa, Hiphop, Jazz, Partnering, Ballet, Contemporary, and House.  His home studios where he teaches in LA are TMillys, West Coast Dance Studios, Millennium Dance Complex, Legacy Studios, and Movement Lifestyle.  

His versatility has lead him to teach on several conventions and workshops as a faculty member or guest teacher such as Hollywood Dance Jamz, World of Dance, Company Dance, Shock The Intensive, So You Think You Can Dance Experience, IMMA Beast, Triple Threat Dance, Stage Door, Raise The Bar, Global Dance Convention, and Extreme.  

He has choreographed, toured, or danced for artist such as Jennifer Lopez - Vegas Residency, Justin Bieber “Changes Tour”, Maks and Val “Our Way Tour”, Derek and Julianne Hough’s “Move Beyond” Tour, Prince Royce, Pitbull, Marc Anthony, Madonna, Usher, Pink, Will Smith, Britney Spears, N’Sync, Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson, Mya, and Enrique Iglesias.  TV Shows include World Of Dance, So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane The Virgin, Lips Sync Battle, America’s Best Dance Crew, American Music Awards, MTV Awards, Latin Grammys. Gustavo has always focused on being true to his craft and art.  Versatility is one of the huge advantages that he has as a teacher and dancer whether its Technique, Hiphop, or Partnering.  His goal for the dancers is to have the knowledge and fundamentals of what they are learning, but most importantly understand the style and feeling of that genre.  He hopes that the dancers leave his class learning something new and to enjoy every minute of the process.  This mindset has opened so many doors and opportunities for him as an artist and he wishes this on anyone he teaches and trains.
